In Türkiye, free zones, which have a trade volume of 32 billion dollars per year, achieve exports exceeding 11 billion dollars, and employ a total of 91,000 people, have joined forces under the umbrella of the Free Zones Founders and Operators Association (SEBKİDER) with the aim of attracting more investment focused on production and exports. Yusuf Kılınç, the President of SEBKİDER’s Board of Directors, stated that together with SEBKİDER, they aim to further develop the free zones, which serve as a strong dynamo in the export, employment, and production aspects of the Turkish economy, and to attract more direct investors to Türkiye.
