COOKIE POLICY

SEBKİDER Cookie Policy (referred to briefly as “Policy” below) has been prepared by SEBKİDER Ege Free Zone Founder and Operator Inc. (SEBKİDER) and constitutes an annex to SEBKİDER’s Personal Data Protection, Storage, and Destruction Policy.

Like many websites, www.sebkider.org.tr also uses cookies to show visitors personalized content and ads, perform traffic analysis on the Portal, and understand visitor usage habits.

SEBKİDER has prepared this Policy to explain which cookies are used on the Portal and how visitors can manage their preferences regarding this matter.

What is Cookie?

Cookies are very small text files consisting of letters and numbers that are stored on your computer (or other devices such as smartphones or tablets) through browsers by the websites you visit. Cookies do not contain personal data such as names, genders, or addresses of visitors.

Cookies are created by servers that manage the websites you visit. This allows the server to recognize when a visitor revisits the same site. Cookies can be likened to identity cards that show website owners when the same visitor revisits the site.

For more detailed information about cookies, you can visit http://www.cookieyes.com and http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

Which Cookies Are Used?

Cookies can be classified based on their owners, lifespans, and purposes.

Based on ownership, there are Portal cookies and third-party cookies. Portal cookies are managed by SEBKİDER, while third-party cookies are managed by different companies.

Based on lifespan, there are session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are deleted when the visitor leaves the Portal, while persistent cookies remain on the visitors’ devices for varying periods.

Based on purposes, the Portal uses technical cookies, authentication cookies, targeting/advertising cookies, personalization cookies, and analytical cookies.

Session Cookies

Session cookies are temporary cookies that are used during visitors’ sessions on the Portal and are deleted after the browser is closed. The primary purpose of using these cookies is to ensure the proper functioning of the Portal during your visit. For example, they enable you to fill out online forms consisting of multiple pages.

Kalıcı Çerezler (Persistent Cookies)

Persistent cookies are types of cookies used to enhance the functionality of the Portal and provide visitors with faster and better service. These cookies are used to remember visitor preferences and are stored on the device through browsers.

Some types of persistent cookies can be used to offer personalized recommendations based on factors such as your usage of the Portal.

Through persistent cookies, the Portal checks if there is a cookie created by the Portal on your device when you revisit with the same device. If such a cookie exists, it indicates that you have previously visited the site, and the content delivered to you is determined accordingly, thus providing you with better service.

Technical Cookies

Technical cookies ensure the operation of the Portal by identifying non-functioning pages and areas of the website.

Advertising Cookies

Advertising cookies are used to customize the advertisements presented to users on the Portal and to prevent the display of ads that have already been viewed.

Analytical Cookies

Analytical cookies are used to generate analytical results such as the number of visitors to the Portal, the detection of pages viewed on the Portal, the times of Portal visits, and scrolling movements on Portal pages.
